The Assistant Cubmaster serves many roles within the pack. They may be asked to help plan a Pack meeting, organize an event, assist with awards and ceremonies or temporarily fill in for the Cubmaster. The person in this role should understand the Aims and Methods of scouting and be willing to jump in where needed. The Assistant Cubmaster doesn’t need to automatically be considered ‘the next Cubmaster’.
