Pinewood Derby 2024
February 3 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm CST
Scouts, Rev up your engines! Pack 63 is hosting our annual Pinewood Derby on February 3, 2024 @ Rose Glen Elementary School.
Racing Begins at 9am, try to arrive by 8:30.
As always, it is a bunch of fun for the kids, and parents alike!
Remember, a trophy can be earned in the following categories:
- Best Scout Spirit
- Most Patriotic
- Most Unusual
- Most Animal Like
- Most Creative Use of Material
- Most Colorful
- Most Food Like
- Best of Show (Cubmaster’s Choice)
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each den.
The top two scouts from each den will participate in the Grand Champions Race.
Trophy for Scout fastest lap also!
Family members…..don’t worry you can participate also!
The Family Race will be held between rounds 3 and 4 of the Scout Race. (1st,2nd,3rd given for family)
Concessions will be available to fuel those race bellies!

Registration / Weigh-in Dates
02/01/2024 & 02/02/2024
Location: Rose Glen Elementary
6:30 – 8:00pm Thursday
6:30 – 8:00pm Friday
If you need a car, they will be at the December Pack meeting, or contact Joe Ribbich to get a hold of one. All scouts that are registered and dues are paid get 1 car. Family members can purchase additional cars for $5.
