DESCRIPTION:Learn what life was like as a hobo during the Great Depression when you attend the National Railroad Museum’s A Night In The Hobo Jungle. Participants will speak the hobo language\, cook hobo stew\, construct Hoover shacks\, and listen to railroad stories in our hobo jungle.  \n\n\n\nWe will drive up to Green Bay on Saturday and then stay overnight in the exhibits inside cardboard boxes. Please feel free to bring an air mattress or cot to sleep on. We will wake up\, do some cleanup\, and then depart.

Pack 63 is hosting our annual Pinewood Derby on January 14th @ Rose Glen Elementary School.   \n\n\n\nRacing Begins at 9am\, try to arrive by 8:30.   \n\n\n\nAs always\, it is a bunch of fun for the kids\, and parents alike! \n\n\n\nRemember\, a trophy can be earned in the following categories:\n\n\n\n  Best Scout Spirit   Most Patriotic   Most Unusual   Most Animal Like   Most Creative Use of Material   Most Colorful   Most Food Like   Best of Show (Cubmaster’s Choice) \n\n\n\nThe top two finishing scouts from each den will participate in the Grand Champions Race. \n\n\n\nFamily members…..don’t worry you can participate also!   \n\n\n\nThe Family Race will be held between rounds 3 and 4 of the Scout Race. (1st\,2nd\,3rd given for family) \n\n\n\nConcessions will be available to fuel those race bellies! \n\n\n\nPlease see attachments below for official rules and flyers for the 2023 pinewood derby. \n\n\n\nIf you need a car\, they will be at the December Pack meeting\, or contact Joe Ribbich to get ahold of one.  All scouts that are registered get 1 car.  Family members can purchase additional cars for $5.

DESCRIPTION:It is time for our Pack rechartering and we have posted a payment link. Annual dues are a combination of BSA National Fees ($75) and Pack Fees ($35). The Pack Fees help to pay for all books\, neckerchiefs\, slides\, patches and belt loops.  \n\n\n\nThis year we have made Scout Life Magazine an optional addition. Many families were receiving multiple copies of the magazine so this will save a few dollars. \n\n\n\nThe Pack pays for Adult Leader registration fees through fundraising but leaders can optionally choose to pay to offset those costs. \n\n\n\nWe work hard to keep these fees down through our fundraising efforts. Fundraising helps to pay for equipment\, subsidize events and pay for Pack meeting supplies and activities.

DESCRIPTION:Summer is just around the corner\, so as your planning vacations and fun activities\, keep in mind we have our Council Night with the Lake County Dock Hounds at the end of the summer.  For those of you who are not aware\, there is a new minor league baseball team in Oconomowoc that is debuting this year.  We have partnered with them to host a Council Night.  It will be held on August 24th(Wednesday)\, game time is 6:35pm and they are playing the Milwaukee Milkmen. \n\n\n\nTickets for this event are only $15\, and we have the ability to earn some awesome rewards depending on how many tickets we sell.  If Potawatomi Area Council buys 100 tickets total\, here is what the Council will get: \n\n\n\nThrow out the first pitchPromotional table we can use for recruiting30 second commercial on the score boardPregame interviews\n\n\n\nIn addition\, they will be having mid game games on the field that we have a good chance of having Scouts and parents participate in as well as presenting the colors before the game.
