It seems crazy, but the school year and Scouting year are just around the corner. That means SWAMP FOX!! Swamp Fox is a family-friendly campout about an hour and twenty minutes away on the north shore of Long Lake. We travel up Friday afternoon and set up tents. After a brief into and a campsite fire we head to bed to rest up for a busy day.
Saturday starts with a flag ceremony and breakfast. From there we just into great activities like a wood project, fire building, cooking, BB guns, archery, field games and more! Dinner and closing flags are next and the night is capped off with a campfire features skits put on by the kids.
All ages and abilities are welcome. Please don’t let a lack of camping experience keep you away. We have plenty of gear to lend and plenty of hands available to set up your tent for you!
