Scouter’s Minute – Thank you for your Service

“Thank you for your Service” – On the rare instance that someone finds out that I served in the military, I get that reply. It is sincere and appreciated. Especially given times in our recent history when veterans weren’t welcomed home and were instead called names, spit on and degraded. We’ve come a long way as a Nation since those days and for that, we all should be grateful.

Scouter’s Minute – May 2022

Why Scouting? With so many activities, sports, and groups available to our youth today, why bother participating in Cub Scouts? Scouting provides a unique opportunity for our young boys and girls to learn skills and experience challenges that they would not otherwise have. Cub Scouting is not only about s’mores and belt loops – those are just added benefits.
